And for electric guitars it´s about the same. Only that you have to attach the straplock system of some sort, on the lower top corner of the pickguard and use a bigger screw. Or else it is the same again. The guitar stays on your belly no matter what, and your shoulders will not be damaged.
The risk here is stripping the hole where you have inserted the new straplock system. But hey, it is a tool, right? And not your, or any other living beings, body. :)
Again, it floats in the air. And looks like you´re pulling some magic trick.
By the way: I do not take any kind of responsibility of damaged guitars, but I gather that you already know that. :)
