IPC tomorrow
Going to play some music with Nikolaj, Magnus and Anders in Elsinore at the IPCs music night. Don´t really know what that includes, but I´m sure it will be loads of fun.
Headlines 1
Here´s attempt to trace up what´s been happening since I last year in no particular order:
1. Gudssoennerne is no more...only one Gudssoen if anything and that soen is not me. There was a lot of work put into the making of the Djinnen Gin book/cd, and none of it amounted to anything but the pieces laying in boxes never to be assembled. Not much to write about that that would not be angry.
2. Rikke and I went to USA for 5 months. Lived in Boston, and then traveled some. It was by far one of the biggest experiences ever for me, and us. We want to get back some day. Hopefully Rikke will get a PhD somewhere, and we can get a chance to live there for some years.
3. But first I have to get in to the university here in Copenhagen. And the exams I have to have have changed since we left for the states, so we have been working like crazy to solve the situation. Now it seems that an exam I took in 1997 might be just the one that will get me into the University. But nothing is for certain. One thing is for sure. I am getting older, and I do want to get an education...and I reeeeeeeally have to start soon...
4. I learned to build and bend a lot of stuff. It will come in handy, and I can play stuff as a one man band now a lot easier. I´ve stopped looking for people to play the Bandinikvartetten stuff with me. One day I realised that I was spending a hell of a lot of time meeting up with people and tracking people down, instead of just playing the damn music myself.
5. I´ve been sick. Both before we went to the States. Got really bad, thought I got cured. Didn´t. Got bad again in the states. Got a tooth removed over there. Got some strange antibiotics. Got weakened. Lost my hair back in Denmark. Got some rays and hormones. Still not well. Waiting for results of some blood samples. It´s bad, but it´s not like it´s gonna kill me. It´s just rough. Guess that´s what to say about that.
